[Good on Paper]
About

Good on Paper was born out of a rare, full-spectrum understanding of music built on stages, in studios, and behind the lens.

Founded by Chris Acosta and Tim Oakley, the agency traces back to their beginnings as musicians in projects like Phantogram, The Mathematicians, and The Delta Mirror, where they learned firsthand how to shape sound, vision, and audience. That foundation evolved into directing and producing music videos and commercial content, developing a visual language rooted in elevating an artist’s identity.

Their path led into the label world, where Chris worked as a video commissioner for Capitol Records, Red Bull Records, Sony Music, and Concord Music Group gaining a deep understanding of how successful campaigns are built and executed at scale. Tim has continued to work in production and software development.

Good on Paper brings it all together. The agency delivers end-to-end creative direction for campaigns, from concept through production, marketing, and social rollout all executed in-house for total cohesion. This is paired with targeted, automated ad placement across platforms and performance analytics that refine strategy in real time.

Built by artists and shaped by industry experience. At its core, Good on Paper is built on empathy for the artist and fluency in the market. Chris and Tim understand both the creative vulnerability required to make meaningful work and the strategic precision needed to make it resonate.

They’ve lived it. Now they build it for you.
